Welcome to my journey as I attempt to Meet the Stoics. I plan to share (somewhat) regular updates along my journey as I read the Stoic texts and improve my understanding of Stoicism.

About me

My name is Andrew. I am but a mere student of Stoicism.

I discovered Stoicism sometime early in 2023. I was recovering from depression at the time, and looking to discover whether there was more to life.

I was a man with semi-unstable emotions, often letting things get the better of me, and Stoicism seemed like a philosophy worth pursuing. I did not feel that my life was virtuous and worthy of living, but something about Stoicism seemed to (somewhat) resonate with my mindset at the time.
